The short version. We collect only what we need to take your order and deliver it: your email, your Twitch channel name, your order and payment status, and your IP address. We never ask for your Twitch password. We don't use analytics or advertising trackers, and we don't sell your data.
1. What we collect
| Account | Your email address and your password. We store the password only as a one-way scrypt hash, so we can't read it. We also record when the account was created and when you last signed in. |
| Orders and trials | The Twitch channel name, package, region, price, order status and delivery status. |
| Payments | The payment ID, payment status and the coin you paid with, as reported by our payment processor. We never see or store your wallet's private keys. We don't take card details, because we don't accept cards. |
| Technical | The IP address used to place an order, request a trial or sign in. We use it to prevent abuse, for example to enforce the one-trial-per-channel rule and rate limits. |
| Activity log | An internal record of events on each order, such as "order created", "payment confirmed" or "delivery started", for support and disputes. |
2. How we use it
- To create and run your account, and to sign you in.
- To take payment, deliver the package you ordered and show its status in your dashboard.
- To answer support requests and handle disputes.
- To prevent fraud and abuse, and to keep the service secure.
We don't use your data for advertising, and we don't sell it or rent it to anyone.
3. Cookies
We use only the cookies the site needs to work:
- pv_session keeps you signed in for up to 30 days, or until you sign out.
- pv_oauth is used only during "Continue with Google", when that option is offered. It lasts 10 minutes and protects the sign-in from tampering.
We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
4. Who else processes your data
- NOWPayments processes crypto payments. When you pay, you use their checkout page, which runs under their own privacy policy. We send them the order number and the amount. We don't send them your email.
- Google Fonts: our pages load fonts from Google's servers, so Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
- Google sign-in, only if you choose it: Google tells us your email address and a Google account ID. We don't get your Google password or your contacts.
- Our hosting provider runs the server that stores the data above.
We may also disclose data when the law requires it, or when that is needed to protect the service or our users from fraud.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account is open. We keep order and payment records for as long as we need them for accounting and disputes. When you sign out, your session is deleted right away, and expired sessions are cleaned up automatically.
6. Your choices
- You can see your orders and trials in your dashboard, and you can change your password there.
- You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account. We will delete what we don't need to keep for accounting or disputes.
7. Security
Passwords are hashed. Sessions use random tokens that are stored hashed. Order pages are protected by a secret link. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a password you don't use anywhere else.
8. Children
MeowViewers is for people aged 18 or older. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
